Results from the 1997 Australian National Survey of Mental Health and Wellbeing revealed that 9.7%, or nearly 1.3 million, of adult Australians suffer from an anxiety disorder in any 12-month period. In response to this identified need, the Sydney Anxiety Disorders Practice (SADP) was established in 1998 with the aim of providing evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment services to adults suffering from anxiety disorders and other anxiety-related problems.
SADP is managed by Jonathan Gaston, Rachel Guthrie, Sally Neary & Brian O’Grady: four Clinical Psychologists with long-standing experience and expertise in the treatment of anxiety disorders.
SADP is committed to providing treatments that are short term, cost effective and scientifically validated.
